Until today, I’ve never thought that I want to shoot at a construction site. I was supposed to do an autumn shooting in a park but didn’t get any good pictures. After that I followed JJ to a big construction site. He’d like to film an area that will become Hagastaden in 2025. To save pictures of how the city looks like before it will be filled with modern architecture. Part of the landscape has already changed, an empty area is replaced with concrete buildings. Existing motor ways might be moved to give space for resident and office buildings. This city development project will connect Stockholm and Solna. It will provide 5,000 new resident units and 36,000 workplaces.
After visiting, I think it must be fun to plan this kind of project. How many workers & materials are needed? How to finance it? What need to be done before another? How do you know that things are built according to the specs? Lots of fun stuff and I wonder how many things can happen at the same time at this workplace.
It might be too late for me to be a project manager in a real construction site but I think I can still have a play room at home and have half of the room built with LEGO City and another half with LEGO Star Wars. Ho Ho Ho!
