Logbook from Åre: Audi S5 Test Drive

(WARNING! It was for me to remember about what had happened and not much about giving travel information)

I had a holiday from my holiday which meant ‘no ski’ today. You might not be able to imagine how good it felt. It meant no stress to go down from the cabin on ski, no tired legs and no pains from ski boots.

It’s low tempo in the morning, had breakfast and relaxed in the sofa. I couldn’t sit still so long, so I started to look around and did my photography activity.

We’re going to the center of Åre, picked Audi S5, drove to Åre lake and did some tests on ABS and the tracking control system on ice. At the end of the test drive, they let us drive without those intelligent systems, still on ice.

Before that, we had half an hour to enjoy the city in daytime. It’s a nice, blue-sky day. It’s mild weather to walk in town (I mean, it’s still around zero but it was warmer than the day before, no wind and sunny).

Then, we drove! Not a perfect day for driving though, the track was wet.

Did you drive the car over a lake??? I would worry that the ice would break at a certain point!
