Potted Easter Lily
It was good weather over last weekend and JJ bought a pot of easter lily on Monday. Few days later when the flowers bloomed, I knew immediately that they would be perfect objects for a new experiment, backlighting.
I shot those photos in a room with large windows and used natural light from the sky as a large lighting source. And, the ones with glowing white background are overexposed.
I’m very much satisfied with the results. One good thing with digital photography, I can try different settings and promptly know the result. So, when I shot I began with normal exposure then went over. I also shot from a very low angle by lying on the floor to get the whole pot.
All of the photos I shot have a slight look of water color painting. Don’t you agree? This is very much worth a try. 😀
