Words about Courage

Courage isn’t about fearlessness. It is the ability to move ahead despite fear. Whether it’s jumping into the deep end or stepping onto the dance floor, get outside of your comfort zone.
As the Lion learns in The Wizard of Oz, it is not to be confused with rashness or folly, courage is carrying on, despite fear, until you reach your Emerald City.
Every country needs a courageous leader. Perhaps this is why so many politicians write about the subject. From J F Kennedy who took the Pulizer Prize for his work, Profiles in Courage, to Obama Barrack who wrote about the Audacity of Hope, to Gordon Brown’s recent publication, Courage.
"Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one’s courage" said Anais Nin.
